About NWIPCA
NWIPCA (Northwest Independent Plan Center Association) is an association of 10 plan centers located in the Pacific Northwest. The Association's mission includes providing a means of information exchange between its 10 plan center members and ensuring that members of the construction industry are aware of the benefits that the plan centers provide.

Collectively, member plan centers serve more than 2,600 members including:

  • Architectural firms
  • Engineering firms
  • Contractors
  • Sub Contractors
  • Suppliers
  • Factory representatives
  • Other firms and individuals requiring information about construction projects bidding

History of NWIPCA
In 1997, Steve Walker of Walker Construction in Spokane, Washington had the vision to see the benefits of forming an organization that would combine these geographically diverse Plan Centers in order to share information, technology, resources and ideas.

In 1998, the by-laws were written and in January, 1999, the organization became a reality with ten charter member Plan Centers.

Since 1999 our shared knowledge has allowed us to better serve the industry. The most significant accomplishment is the adoption of the same web site software (IPIN) by the majority of our member plan centers. This allows a common format for the secure delivery of information via the Internet.
